AI Took My Meeting Notes (and Did It Better Than Me)

This week, I tried something a little different... I let AI take the minutes in one of my meetings.
I tested out two apps—Otter and Fireflies—and I have to say, I was blown away! They didn’t just transcribe what was said, they summarised the conversation, pulled out action points, and gave me a list of what to focus on. Better than I’ve ever managed with my scribbled notes!
It made me think...
🤖 If AI can do that, what else can it do?
And more importantly... what can’t it do (yet)?
Would you believe that when ChatGPT launched in November 2022, it reached 100 million users in just two months?
Fast-forward to 2025, and there are now over 11,000 AI tools and apps being used across every industry—from accounting and customer service, to yes… even massage therapy.
💡 Yes, robot massage centres exist!
There are already AI-powered massage machines and robotic wellness spas operating in parts of China, Japan, and even the US. They may not offer that human connection, but they’re fast, efficient, and getting smarter. And some clients are choosing them.
